This course is taught over a period of six months and includes a correspondence part with written assignments and email/telephone support of course tutors as well as six days of lectures within this time period. Classes are in Enfield
The aim of the different modules is to give students and other practitioners a comprehensive understanding of human biology and all its various aspects. At the end of each moule you will have a written exam.
Anatomy : Identification of 200 key anatomical landmarks such as bony prominences, muscles, organs, tendons.
Physiology and Pathology : Systematic review of the systems of the body (Respiratory, Digestive, Endocrine, Genito-Urinary, Circulatory..)
There are 6 contact days in addition to distance learning. The focus of the contact days are to assess your skill in anatomical location and to cover issues arising from the worksheets.
Assessment will be based on a series of worksheets to be completed at home, with a practical exam on anatomical landmarks.

Successful graduates from this course can apply for membership of the Acupuncture Society are entitled to use the abbreviations MAcS ANP after their names the society can also arrange professional indemnity insurance at a very competitive members preferential rate
all members must be insured and log 15 hours of CPD per year (8 hours courses/seminars/workshops and 7 hours home study/research)
Acupuncture Society Application Formif they join the Society and adhere to its code of ethics rules and regulations and supply copies of their insurance.
Acupuncture Society members are exempted from Local Authority Licensing in many areas including Greater London please check with your local authority.
The annual membership to the Acupuncture Society is £50
